We believe there’s power in purpose; acting with intentional focus on a desired outcome. Combining community causes with exercise offers people greater purpose than personal health alone; it offers fitness for the whole self—mind, body and soul. The result? Fulfillment in ourselves, strength in our communities.

Fitness Project supports local charities through fundraising and experiential initiatives, and invites members to participate in any capacity they’re interested in. While we try to make our community projects appealing to everyone, we do not put pressure or pass judgement on our members to donate or attend. We simply create an environment that showcases what we’re involved in and celebrates our members’ community goals and achievements. Should a member want to contribute, we’ll welcome them with open arms!

When a child enters the foster care system because his or her home is no longer safe, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer to help them. That volunteer is called a Court Appointed Special Advocate®, or CASA.

The pic speaks for itself. Do something that makes you better. Remember we’re all in the state of becoming, either you’re becoming better or in the state of becoming worse. Complacency and or doing nothing only brings stagnation. We all know what stagnated water looks and smells like. 

You might not be able to make it to the gym but here are a things you can do…

1. Get up from your desk and do some squats. Who cares that your co-workers are looking.

2. Take a break and go walk up and down the stairs for a few minutes.

3. Overhead arm clap. Basically jumping jacks without the jumping. Just arm movement.

4. Wiggle your toes for a few minutes. Not gonna burn many calories but it just feels good to wiggle your toes.

5. Shrug your shoulders up and down. Rotate your neck left and right. Not like I’m the exorcist!!! If you can do that then you need Jesus and Tacos.

6. Go in the bathroom stall with your AirPods and twerk for a few minutes. Men don’t do this or I will judge you if I discover you did this. 😁

It’s a choice. You have to wake up and choose to embody the best version of yourself every. single. day. Some days that means working out. Some days that means learning to listen to your body. To be your best version you only need attitude; regular practice through the understanding that health is done in a broad concept where you cannot feel pressured and obliged to anything but that you are taking care of yourself with pleasure such as going to a salon, going to waxing, having your leisure, taking care of your diet and take routine exams. 
The gym has to be like a school task that you cannot fail to do so that you are not at fault with your health in the future and thus consequently feel good with your body watching it change and be more beautiful every day.
